LIMITED EDITION PERPÉTUEL CALENDAR RIVERIA - 10786

In 1973 Baume revealed an unprecedented case with a dodecagonal bezel topped with a flat-linked metal strap. It got noticed and became an object of desire, and here it is, fifty years later, still just as creative — The Riveria.
The RIVIERA CALENDRIER PERPÉTUEL seeks to penetrate the mysteries of the universe and of technology
This timepiece, featuring a perpetual calendar function is a masterpiece of precision engineering and a marvel of modern technology capable of displaying not only hours, minutes and seconds, but also the day, month, and year – taking into account leap years – and the moon’s phases. Beyond telling the time, this watch illustrates the eternal beauty and majesty of the skies and the passage of time. It follows their pace through complex movements and precise calculations. The individual wearing this timepiece feels profoundly united with the universe and is fascinated by the infinite possibilities that they perceive within it. This watch is a reminder of the importance of understanding and appreciating its mysteries through the extraordinary connections between man and nature.
The Riviera pulls out all the stops in this version with a perpetual calendar and represents the quintessence of sport-chic watchmaking, proving that haute-horlogerie can go hand in hand with style and casualness. This Riveria is limited to 50 pieces and echoes the historic 1985 model featuring a full calendar, but looks resolutely to the future: in a 40mm steel case and just 11.8mm thick.
The polished satin-finished stainless steel case is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-glare coating on both sides. Fastened by four screws, the bezel is crafted in polished satin-finished stainless steel. The dodecagonal case back is covered with a sapphire crystal and fastened with four steel screws. The free octagonal crown is wreathed in a black outline. The brand’s emblem, the Phi logo, appears at the center.
The self-winding Baumatic manufacture movement includes a Dubois-Dépraz module and guarantees this exquisite timepiece excellent precision, a five-day power reserve (120 hours), and protection against everyday magnetic fields. With an oscillation of 4 Hz (28,800 vph), the watch is water-resistant to 5ATM (approximately 50m). The mechanism is adorned with circular-grained bridges, a sand-blasted and snailed baseplate, an openworked oscillating weight adorned with snailed and “Côtes de Genève" designs, and a unique Baume & Mercier engraving.
As a final touch of refinement and exclusivity, each timepiece bears a special “Limited Edition” numbered engraving. This timepiece reflects the Maison’s modern and legitimate vision of watchmaking expertise.

LIMITED EDITION HAMPTON - 10741

This unique creation, limited to 328 pieces, draws inspiration from Soulages' monumental work, "Peinture 324 x 362 cm, 1986," specifically Polyptyque I. Displayed at the Soulages Museum, this masterpiece composed of four panels measuring 81 x 362 cm each has inspired the dial of this exclusive watch. In celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Soulages Museum, a valued partner of Baume & Mercier since 2021, this Hampton timepiece encapsulates the captivating intersection of art and watchmaking.
The dial's miniaturization offers a fascinating interpretation of large-scale painting, exhibiting an exceptional blend of technical prowess and aesthetic complexity. The addition of two golden dots at the end of the hands to express the request of Pierre Soulages to marry the black and the gold and have two gold pearls to express the time.
The creation of a vegan strap mixing cellulose and apple leather to echo the request of the Musee and Pierre Soulages to be more in tune with current time and societal challenges The play of contrasting blacks, from matte to semi-matte, shine, and diffuse layers, harmoniously captures the essence of Soulages' artistic legacy.
This wearable masterpiece not only pays homage to one of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries but also elegantly translates the strength and allure of black into a timeless work of art.
