DW-5000C 是 1983 年的原创 G-Shock 型号。GMW-B5000 系列继承了其独特的方形设计，并采用全金属处理，同时升级了智能手机连接等功能。这款手表采用全金属表壳，在表壳和坚固的不锈钢金属表圈之间插入了抗震精细树脂缓冲材料。高密度安装技术还使手表保持了其尺寸。手表背面采用坚固的螺丝锁背，并经过 DLC 处理以防磨损。整个表壳和表带均采用玫瑰金离子镀层，以呈现美丽的色彩。通过使用薄膜太阳能电池和 STN-LCD（液晶），可视性也得到了增强。
