Excellent stylish understatement.
Once receiving the watch and given that my daily watch is a Seiko King Turtle, I though the Alpinist might be too small on my wrist but I was pleasantly surprised.
I swapped out the original brown leather strap with a green leather strap. Now, it is beautiful.

Beautiful , Quality watch
The design and quality of the watch is excellent, including the green/gold colour combination works well. The brown leather strap compliments the green/gold, although the feel/comfort is a bit stiff because it's new. Overall, the watch looks retro/vintage which is exactly what I was going for. Thank you Watch Direct. Great and speedy service. Couldnt be happier.
