The MTG-B3000 men's watch is built on an entirely new, sophisticated structural concept, achieving an innovative, slimmer profile.
It features the advanced Dual Core Guard structure, protecting the module within a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case and an intricate, single-piece stainless steel case back that forms the lugs and guards. Measuring 5.19 centimetres long by 5.09 centimetres wide and just 1.21 centimetres thick, this timepiece guarantees ultimate toughness with Triple G Resist and 200-metre water resistance. The watch features a black ion-plated bezel with a exposed stainless steel hairline finish and a soft black urethane band. It maintains high accuracy globally via Tough Solar power, Multi Band 6 radio control, and Bluetooth® connectivity.

Built not to break
A module that floats
Inside a hollow case, the module (the heart of the watch) seems to float, so knocks from outside are softened before they reach it. The idea came from watching children play with a rubber ball.
Tough Solar
A thin, film-like solar panel is fitted into the dial around the display, and it turns even weak light, such as from fluorescent lamps, into power.

About G-SHOCK
G-SHOCK began with a dropped watch. Casio designer Kikuo Ibe saw a watch break when it fell, and proposed “a durable watch that would not break even if dropped”. The project set itself the “Triple 10” goal: survive a 10-metre drop, resist water to 10 bar and run for 10 years on one battery. The first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, arrived in 1983.
