The Timex Time Machines is built for small wrists and first watches.
A 29mm purple resin case holds a white dial printed with a full set of Arabic numerals and a floral motif, and the hands are labelled to help a child read hours and minutes at a glance. An acrylic lens takes the knocks, a quartz movement keeps it accurate without winding, and the purple elastic fabric strap with its pink floral print fastens on a simple buckle. Water resistant to 30 metres, so a splash or a hand-wash is no drama.

About Timex
Timex began in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company in Connecticut's Brass City, setting out to take timekeeping beyond the mantels of the wealthy. It went on to offer the first $1 pocket watch. In the 1960s Timex showed how tough its watches were in a series of live, televised torture tests.
