The Casio Vintage A500WA-7D is a retro digital watch with a world map printed across its large display.
It suits travellers: world time covers 31 time zones (48 cities plus UTC), and a multi-time mode keeps four cities handy. Five daily alarms, an hourly time signal, a 1/100-second stopwatch and a countdown timer cover the day-to-day, with an LED backlight for the dark and an auto-calendar set to 2099. The 39 × 34mm case sits on a stainless steel bracelet with a deployment clasp. Rated to 30m (3 bar), it handles rain and hand-washing; take it off before swimming or showering.

About Casio
Casio's story starts in April 1946, when Tadao Kashio set up Kashio Seisakujo, a small factory in Mitaka, Tokyo, making microscope parts and gears. In June 1957 it became Casio Computer Co., Ltd., built around the 14-A, the world's first compact all-electric calculator. That calculator know-how led Casio to watches: Toshio Kashio's view was that a watch simply adds up seconds.
