The G-Shock GMDS5610PP-4D goes all in on pink: a matte pink bezel and band, with a deeper pink face for contrast.
The clean, simple styling makes it easy to pair with most outfits, and at 45.7 × 40.5mm and 11.9mm thick it's a compact G-Shock, with a band that fits 145 to 190mm wrists. Key resin parts, including the bezel and band, use bio-based resin made from renewable organic sources. It's still a full G-Shock: shock resistant and rated to 200m (20 bar), with a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms with a flash alert and a Super Illuminator LED backlight. Battery life is about three years.

Built not to break
A module that floats
Inside a hollow case, the module (the heart of the watch) seems to float, so knocks from outside are softened before they reach it. The idea came from watching children play with a rubber ball.

About G-SHOCK
G-SHOCK began with a dropped watch. Casio designer Kikuo Ibe saw a watch break when it fell, and proposed “a durable watch that would not break even if dropped”.
