The G-Shock G-Squad GBA900-1A6 is a training watch with G-Shock toughness built in.
It pairs with the G-SHOCK MOVE app over Bluetooth and uses your phone's GPS to calibrate its accelerometer, so once it has learned your stride it can measure distance without the phone. On a run it tracks distance, speed, pace and calories, takes auto lap times and shows exercise intensity in five stages. Afterwards the app looks after watch settings, workouts and your activity history. A Memory in Pixel LCD and Super Illuminator LED keep the display easy to read day or night, and the soft band is made for a comfortable fit. Shock resistant and rated to 200m (20 bar).

Built not to break
A module that floats
Inside a hollow case, the module (the heart of the watch) seems to float, so knocks from outside are softened before they reach it. The idea came from watching children play with a rubber ball.
2-year warranty
Every G-SHOCK watch from Watch Direct comes with a 2-year warranty from Shriro Australia, Casio’s exclusive Australian distributor.
Watch Direct is an authorised G-SHOCK retailer, trading since 2011.
About G-SHOCK
G-SHOCK began with a dropped watch. Casio designer Kikuo Ibe saw a watch break when it fell, and proposed “a durable watch that would not break even if dropped”. The project set itself the “Triple 10” goal: survive a 10-metre drop, resist water to 10 bar and run for 10 years on one battery. The first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, arrived in 1983.
